Terms of Use

1 Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using Krishna Sakha, you confirm that:

• You have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms
• You are at least 13 years of age (users between 13-18 should have parental guidance)
• You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• Your use of the App complies with all applicable laws and regulations

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and Mayra AI Labs ("we", "us", "our").

2 Description of Service

Krishna Sakha is a free AI-powered spiritual companion mobile application that provides:

• AI Krishna Chat: Conversational AI that responds to your life questions with guidance rooted in Bhagavad Gita teachings. Supports text and voice input in 11 Indian languages
• Bhagavad Gita Reader: Complete text of all 18 chapters and 700+ shlokas with Sanskrit, Hindi & English translations, and AI-powered deep insight analysis
• Mantra Meditation: AI-generated mantras based on your emotional state with save and share functionality
• Karma Tracker: Track daily good and bad deeds with scoring, streaks, and AI analysis of your karma patterns
• Vedic Calendar (Panchang): Complete Hindu calendar with Tithi, Nakshatra, Yoga, Karana, Rahu Kaal, festival dates, and auspicious timings
• Voice Interaction: Speech-to-text input and text-to-speech output for hands-free spiritual guidance

The App is provided free of charge with daily message limits. Users may watch advertisements to extend their daily quota.

3 User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

You may create an account using:

• Google Sign-In (recommended)
• Email and password registration

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3.2 Account Accuracy

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and profile setup, and to update such information to keep it accurate and complete.

3.3 Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the app's Settings → "Delete My Account" option. This action is irreversible and will permanently delete:

• Your Firestore user document and all cloud-stored data
• Your Firebase Authentication account
• All local data including chat history, karma entries, and saved mantras

4 AI Output Disclaimer

By using the AI chat feature, you acknowledge and agree that:

• AI responses are generated based on patterns learned from training data and may not always reflect authentic Vedic or scriptural interpretations
• The AI's responses are NOT a substitute for professional advice of any kind
• The App does NOT provide medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, financial, or any other professional advice
• You should consult qualified professionals for any health, mental health, legal, or financial concerns
• Mayra AI Labs is not responsible for any decisions, actions, or outcomes resulting from reliance on AI-generated content
• The "Lord Krishna" persona is a simulated AI character and does not represent actual divine communication

5 User Conduct

You agree to use Krishna Sakha only for lawful, spiritual, and constructive purposes. You must not:

• Use the App to harass, abuse, threaten, or harm any individual or group
• Submit content that is hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, or promotes violence
• Attempt to exploit, manipulate, or "jailbreak" the AI system to generate harmful or prohibited content
• Use automated scripts, bots, or tools to interact with the App or bypass rate limits
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers, networks, or security features
• Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely represent your affiliation with any entity
• Use the App for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent
• Share, redistribute, or republish AI-generated content as your own original spiritual guidance
• Use the App to spread misinformation about Hinduism, Bhagavad Gita, or any religious tradition

We reserve the right to limit, suspend, or terminate your access to the AI chat features if we detect misuse, spamming, or violation of these Terms, without prior notice.

6 Message Limits & Fair Usage

Krishna Sakha operates on a fair-use model to ensure the service remains available and free for all users:

• Each user receives a daily quota of free AI messages
• The message counter resets at midnight (based on your device timezone)
• When your daily limit is reached, you may watch a rewarded advertisement to receive additional messages
• Excessive or abusive usage patterns may result in temporary or permanent throttling
• Rate limits apply to API calls to protect system stability

We reserve the right to adjust message limits at any time without prior notice.

7 Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Content

All content, features, functionality, design elements, logos, graphics, and software of Krishna Sakha are the exclusive property of Mayra AI Labs and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7.2 Bhagavad Gita Text

The Sanskrit verses of the Bhagavad Gita are ancient sacred texts in the public domain. The Hindi and English translations, transliterations, word-by-word meanings, and commentary provided in the App are curated and may be subject to copyright. AI-generated insights and deep analysis are original content generated by our system.

7.3 AI-Generated Content

Responses generated by the AI Krishna Chat are produced by our proprietary system. While you may use these responses for personal spiritual growth, you may not:

• Republish AI responses as standalone content without attribution
• Use AI-generated content to create competing products or services
• Commercially exploit AI-generated mantras, insights, or guidance

7.4 Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you submit to the App (chat messages, karma entries, feedback). By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to process it for the purpose of providing the App's services (e.g., sending your message to the AI for a response).

8 Advertisements

Krishna Sakha is free to use and is supported by advertisements provided through Google AdMob:

• Banner advertisements may be displayed in certain screens (e.g., Settings)
• Rewarded video advertisements allow you to earn additional free messages
• We do not control the content of third-party advertisements
• Ad personalization is managed by Google AdMob and subject to Google's advertising policies
• You can reset your advertising ID through device settings to limit ad tracking

9 Sakha Pro & Payments

Krishna Sakha operates on a premium-first model. The App is free to download with daily message limits. Users may unlock Sakha Pro for an enhanced, unlimited experience:

• Higher or unlimited daily AI message quota
• Ad-free experience across the App
• Priority access to new features and improvements
• Additional benefits as introduced from time to time

All payments for Sakha Pro are:

• Processed through secure third-party payment gateways (Google Play Billing / UPI)
• Strictly non-refundable once processed, except where required by applicable law
• Subject to the pricing displayed at the time of purchase, which may change at our discretion

Free-tier users may watch rewarded advertisements to extend their daily message quota. The free tier is provided as-is and we reserve the right to modify free-tier limits at any time.

10 Disclaimers

10.1 "As Is" Basis

Krishna Sakha is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of performance.

10.2 No Guarantee of Availability

We do not guarantee that the App will be available at all times, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. The App may experience downtime due to maintenance, server issues, third-party service disruptions, or other factors beyond our control.

10.3 Spiritual Guidance Disclaimer

Krishna Sakha is a technology tool designed to make Bhagavad Gita wisdom more accessible. It is not a replacement for:

• Guidance from a qualified Guru, Pandit, or spiritual teacher
• Direct study of scripture under proper guidance
• Traditional religious practices and rituals
• Professional mental health support

10.4 Third-Party Services

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party services integrated into the App, including Google Firebase, Google AdMob, and other cloud processing partners.

11 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Mayra AI Labs, its directors, employees, partners, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Any loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
• Any damages resulting from your access to, use of, or inability to access or use the App
• Any damages resulting from AI-generated content, including any decisions or actions you take based on such content
• Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
• Any conduct or content of any third party on or through the App

In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or ₹500 (Indian Rupees Five Hundred), whichever is greater.

12 Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Mayra AI Labs and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including attorney's fees) arising from:

• Your use of and access to the App
• Your violation of any term of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual property or privacy rights
• Any claim that your use of the App caused damage to a third party

13 Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within 30 days, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 of India. The seat of arbitration shall be in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. Furthermore, the courts in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from these Terms.

14 Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. If a revision is material, we will provide notice through the App or by updating the "Last Updated" date.

What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use the App after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.

15 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, or if modification is not possible, it shall be severed from these Terms. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

16 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Mayra AI Labs regarding your use of Krishna Sakha and supersede all prior and contemporaneous agreements, proposals, or representations, whether written or oral.
